Get clean audio with noise reduction
Glow can filter low rumble, gate background noise and limit peaks while you record.
By the end you will have: A clear voice track without the room hum.
Steps
- 1
Choose your microphone
A headset or lapel mic always beats the built-in one.
- 2
Turn on noise reduction
It applies a high-pass filter, a noise gate and a limiter live.
- 3
Record ten seconds and listen
Check for clipped word endings — that means the gate is too aggressive.
- 4
Fix the room, not the file
Close windows, turn off fans, add soft furnishings.
Tips
Keep the mic about a hand's width away and slightly off-axis to avoid plosives.
Record a couple of seconds of silence at the start; it helps every later step.
