Eye contact mode: read and still look at the lens
The reading band moves right under the lens and gaze can be corrected in the finished video.
By the end you will have: A take where you look at the viewer, not at the text.
Steps
- 1
Turn on eye contact mode
The script band narrows and shifts beneath the camera.
- 2
Set your distance
Sit far enough back that the lens and text fall in one glance.
- 3
Record as usual
Short eye travel keeps your gaze near the camera.
- 4
Apply gaze correction
Refine the finished video for a more direct look.
Tips
Combine with narrow reading width for the strongest effect.
Raise your device so the lens sits at eye height, not below your chin.
