Set scroll speed, font size and line height
The three settings that decide whether reading feels effortless or frantic.
By the end you will have: A prompter you can read without chasing it.
Steps
- 1
Set the text size first
Big enough to read from where you sit, before you touch speed.
- 2
Open up the line height
More air between lines means fewer skipped lines.
- 3
Dial in the speed
Start slower than you think. You can nudge it while recording.
- 4
Do a 20-second test
Record a throwaway take and adjust once.
Tips
If you keep losing your place, the text is too small, not too fast.
Different scripts need different speeds — density matters more than length.
